What gets insulated, and when

  1. Frame up

    Wall wrap goes on the outside of the frame, before windows and cladding.

  2. Roof on

    Sarking goes under the roof covering.

  3. Before plaster

    Wall batts, thermal and acoustic, once windows and rough-in are done.

  4. Ceiling

    Ceiling batts at the stage the builder schedules them.

  5. Floor

    Underfloor batts or boards for timber floors.

Working with your builder

If you are building with a builder, you can ask them to use us, or ask us for a quote and we will coordinate with them.

Owner-builders can book us directly. Send the plans and we will work from the insulation schedule on them.
